Edoardo Winspeare, famous Italian director, was a guest at Univerciné Italien this past weekend. He spoke to Owen, of The Afternoon and Breakfast Shows, about all things Europe: the importance of Italian cinema and how his work is received within the continent, as well as his take on different countries’ artistic strengths.
Univerciné is a series of film festivals that take place in Nantes and represent different European countries. The festival is in partnership with euradionantes.
For the other interviews from the festival, listen to Owen talk to famous actress Ottavia Piccolo, and director of the festival’s prize winning La Guerra dei Cafoni Davide Barletti (both interviews in Italian, with French translation).
