About the albumIFrame

Bigott is a Spanish artist whose musical career already includes 8 albums.
His debut in 2006 “That sentimetal Sandwich” sneaked, almost without any promotion, in the
lists of the bests LPs of the year. In 2007 he releases “what a lovely day today” and he keeps
the pace of an album per year with “Fin”, “This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship”, “The
Orinal Soundtrack”, “Blue Jeans”, “Pavement Tree”, the born of all of which has been praised by
the national media. His new album « My friends are dead » (2016) is going to be released soon.

Variety of styles is a defining feature of all Bigott’s discography. He is hard to classify, both as
an artist and, even more, as a person. A passionate fellow, with a sort of enfant terrible attitude,
he despises conventionalisms and faces both interviews and live performances with the same
approach: he does as he feels… and it works.
His pinnacle albums so far are “Fin”, which comprises a remarkable variety of fresh and
touching melodies, “The Orinal Soundtrack” which features the single “Cannibal dinner” which
boosted his popularity and was listed in most of the highlight selections of the year; and
“Pavement Tree”, produced by the American musician Jeremy Jay, a rather introspective album
with a dark romantic flavor, which again reveals a new angle of this unclassifiable prolific artist.

Bigott has played live in a wide variety of prestigious international music festivals as SXSWTexas,
USA, CMW-Toronto, Canadá, ROCK AL PARQUE- Bogotá, Ecuador, EUROPA VOXClermont
Ferrand, France, LE PRINTEMPS DE BOURGES, Bourges, France, OPTIMUS
PRIMAVERA SOUND- Lisbon, Portugal, INDIGENES- Nantes, France, as well as in all relevant
Spanish festivals as FIB (Benicassim), PRIMAVERA SOUND (Barcelona), SOS Festival
(Murcia), WOMAD (Cáceres), SONORAMA (Aranda de Duero), ARENAL (Castellón), Luna
Lunera (Sos), Nocturama (Sevilla), Palm Fest (Tarragona), Actual Festival (Pamplona), Solar
Fest (Mallorca), Faraday (Gerona), Fiz Festival (Zaragoza) Irun Rock, amongst many others. He
also has been invited to perform live in important radio stations as Radio Nova in Paris and
Radio 3 in Madrid. The latter also including the recording of his last 5 albums for TV
broadcasting within the program “Los conciertos de Radio 3” in the Spanish nationwide public
TV station “La 2 de TVE”.

The last work of Bigott is a small gem. Every song counts. The melodies are bright, the guitars
colorful and the bass and drums fully connected. With “My friends are dead”, Bigott
demonstrates his fundamental eclectic nature. He likes everything – and he can do everything!
And it all still comes out like Bigott.
“My friends are dead” is produced by Jeremy Jay, recorded during the summer of 2015 at CC
Las Armas in Zaragoza (Spain) , mixed at Hackney Road Studios (London) by Shuta Shinoda
and Jeremy Jay, and mastered by Noel Summerville.
